This is the second wine of Clos Fourtet and, as with many second wines, it represents great early drinking and superb value. An inviting nose leads you into layers of supple dark fruits with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco and cedar. The tannins are firm but fine and the wine has a freshness typical of the vintage, A very good length of finish.
